The Coast Guard Exchange located on Dauphin Island, in Alabama offers a full range of beach supplies, food items, housewares, clothing, Coast Guard and other military merchandise, gift souvenirs in addition to package store specials. The front door opens to a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico with passing shrimp boats cruising for their days catch and the Sand Island Lighthouse nestled on the horizon. Dauphin Island is a small town community boasting superb fishing, fine dining, golfing, bird watching and a relaxed atmosphere. The exchange is located within the Coast Guard Recreational Facility on the East End of Dauphin Island. There are 13 houses available all year round for rent, 5 trailer sites, tenting and a recreational building for parties or reunions. Also available are bicycle rentals, volleyballs, basketball and an Arcade. Reservations are open to all military personnel active duty, reserve and retired.
